Time Commitment

5-10 hours of total self-paced study with lifetime access to all course materials. Most students complete Level 2 within 2-4 weeks.

Certification

Complete all five required courses to earn your Level 2 certification. Requires Level 1 completion.

To maintain active status: Take one additional course per year and attend at least 3 live supervision zoom calls per year.

Anyone can enroll in and complete Level 2 courses. To receive your official Level 2 Spiritual Emergence Coach® certification credential to be acknowledged in the Directory as a Spiritual Emergence Coach Level Two, complete these two steps:

Complete Level 1 Certification

Level 1 Spiritual Emergence Coach Certification is a mandatory prerequisite for Level 2. You must have completed all Level 1 online courses, attended the in-person practicum, met the professional prerequisites, and passed the final interview before enrolling in Level 2.

Complete All Five Level 2 Online Courses

Complete all five required Level 2 courses and pass the level 2 quiz.

Once you complete all five courses, you'll automatically earn your Level 2 certification. There is no additional practicum, interview, or application process for Level 2.

Important: Level 2 is 100% online with no in-person requirement. The professional prerequisites you met for Level 1 carry forward to Level 2, so you don't need to resubmit any credentials or applications.

PhD in Transpersonal Psychology

Dr. Emma Bragdon is a pioneer in body–mind–spirit wellness with 50 years of experience in integrative approaches to mental health, healing, and human development. She has written seven books, co-produced two documentary films, and has taught experiential learning for adults since 1985. Emma volunteered with the Spiritual Emergence Network (SEN) for seven years, editing their journal and coordinating conferences at Esalen Institute with founders Stanislav and Christina Grof. Her PhD dissertation, "How to Support Someone in Spiritual Emergency," launched a lifelong specialization in this field. From 2001–2012, she conducted field research at Spiritist Community Centers and Psychiatric Hospitals in Brazil, studying their 120-year-old model of integrative care. Since 2012, she has served as "ambassador" to non-Brazilians for the Spiritist Psychiatric Hospital in Goiânia, Brazil, facilitating seminars for health professionals worldwide.

Kylea Taylor, M.S., LMFT developed and now teaches InnerEthics®, a self-reflective, self-compassionate approach to ethical relationships for therapists and practitioners. She has been writing and teaching about ethics for three decades. She is the author of Peer Consultation Groups and Ethical Awareness Tools for Psychedelic Practitioners, and The Ethics of Caring: Finding Right Relationship with Clients. Working with Stanislav Grof, M.D. as a Senior Trainer in the Grof Transpersonal Training throughout the 1990s, Kylea facilitated and observed thousands of extra-ordinary state-of-consciousness sessions. She began her study with Stan and Christina Grof in 1984. Kylea assisted Grof and Jack Kornfield, Ph.D. in workshops combining Holotropic Breathwork® and Vipassana meditation, and she facilitated Holotropic Breathwork® in residential addiction treatment. She is the author of The Breathwork Experience, Considering Holotropic Breathwork® and the editor of Exploring Holotropic Breathwork®. Kylea has also produced a series of pre-recorded InnerEthics® video courses for professionals interested in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy or helping clients to integrate profound experiences.
