trained Spiritual Emergence Coach®
Each Spiritual Emergence Coach® has been trained by IMHU to support those challenged by intense spiritually-transformative experiences. Examples of these: mystical experiences, psychic opening, near-death experience (NDE), kundalini awakening, and shamanic journey. Catalysts for such experiences may include ritual, use of plant medicine and psychedelics, stress, trauma, meditation, loss, accidents, and intensive workshops.
Integration of such experiences is key for positive transformation to occur (more peace, happiness, life-satisfaction). As more people are having these experiences, there is an increased need for appropriate support for integration so that the positive, potential transformation is reached. This can avoid a possible faulty diagnosis for mental illness, unnecessary medication, and stigma.
Integration Support Groups
Support groups aimed at furthering integration and facilitated by SECs® offer the opportunity for individuals to feel safe sharing experiences and resources, and being part of a supportive community.
More than 100 Spiritual Emergence Coaches® from 17 countries have been trained. All can facilitate support groups.
Some are licensed to offer 1:1 counseling, as well. Most use Zoom for meetups; so, feel free to Select a SEC® from any location.
