What is Spiritual Emergence Coach® Training?
Spiritual Emergence Coach® training and certification gives practitioenrs both knowledge and skills in how to best support individuals feeling overwhelmed and disoriented by intense spiritual awakening experiences. The courses cover understanding of the territory of both spiritual awakening and spiritual emergency:
What catalyzes spiritual awakenings and emergencies
How to accurately recognize spiritual emergence versus pathology
How to effectively support someone through spiritual experiences
Students learn what kind of care is most effective in supporting someone in achieving the profound peace and satisfaction that can be the outcome of any spiritual awakening process. It’s very different from the care typically given to someone who is emotionally disturbed as it rarely involves medications of any kind. Learning the skills for effective spiritual awakening and spiritual emergency support is qualitatively different.

Those without prior licensing can learn how to facilitate peer-led support groups for individuals feeling isolated, anxious, confused and seeking supportive connections regarding their spiritual awakening or emergency.
