Emma Bragdon is the Executive Director of Integrative Mental Health University. She has been deeply involved with writing and teaching about spiritual awakening and spiritual emergency since 1980. Her special interest in Brazilian Spiritist Therapies comes from the Spiritists' acknowledgement of spiritual emergency and their great success in helping people manage the phenomena and transcend the difficulties. Free training is provided to harness psychic abilities for the common good. Community support breaks through the isolation that many people in the US and EU feel in spiritual crisis. These are elements in the overall support of evolution.Healthcare providers of all kinds in the EU and USA are not yet trained in supporting people in spiritual awakening--so the Brazilian Spiritist Therapists offer a model that has been tested as effective for over 140 years.
