Living With Ghosts: The Science

Ghosts: The Science
Science is studying ghosts. A nine-time award-winning documentary, Living with Ghosts, is now available online. It follows a widow suffering prolonged grief who participates in a controversial research study where scientists facilitate sensory “reconnections” between bereaved survivors and their departed loved ones. The process is known as Induced After-Death Communication (IADC), and it is rapidly gaining recognition among psychologists, academics and bereavement professionals. THE MESSAGE
Of the 270 million bereaved people in the world, up to 30% suffer either Complicated Grief or Prolonged Grief Disorder. Researchers have known for decades that survivors do better with their grief when an emotional bond is maintained with the deceased. And yet psychologists, grief counselors, and clergy routinely discourage such behavior as “denial”, “pathology”, or even “heresy.”
One of the most impressive interviews within the film is with Amit Goswami, PhD, Nuclear Theoretical Physicist (pictured at top) and author of the textbook, Quantum Mechanics. He gives a scientific explanation validating after-death communication.
